On this blessed day, the 11th of June, we, the Office of the Abuna, Catholicos, and Patriarch of the Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Bunyoro–Kitara Kingdom, joyfully commemorate the Empango of His Majesty, the Omukama of Bunyoro–Kitara.
We give thanks to the Almighty God for His guidance and protection over the Kingdom, and for granting our Omukama wisdom, courage, and steadfastness to lead the people of Bunyoro–Kitara in faith, unity, and prosperity.
As the Omukama assumes the mantle of leadership, we pray that the Lord will continue to bless him with divine insight, righteous judgment, and enduring strength to uphold the traditions, dignity, and spiritual heritage of our Kingdom. May his reign be a beacon of peace, justice, and faithful service for all the sons and daughters of Bunyoro–Kitara.
On this sacred day, we exhort all subjects and friends of the Kingdom to offer prayers for the Omukama, and to remain united in loyalty, faith, and love for the Kingdom and its people.
May the blessings of the Lord be upon the Omukama and the Kingdom of Bunyoro–Kitara, now and forevermore.
