A Message from the Office of the Abuna, Catholicos, and Patriarch of the Patriarchate of Bunyoro – Kitara Kingdom
Brothers and Sisters,
Today, we gather in spirit to honor two great milestones in the history and legacy of the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom.
First, we give thanks for the birthday of our reigning Omukama, whose leadership continues to guide the Kingdom with wisdom, dignity, and devotion to the heritage of our people. May the Almighty continue to bless His Majesty with health, strength, and many more years of fruitful reign.
We also commemorate the anniversary of the birth of His Majesty Omukama Chwa II Kabalega, of blessed memory. His courage, vision, and steadfast defense of the sovereignty of Bunyoro-Kitara remain an inspiration to all who cherish freedom and justice. The legacy of Omukama Kabalega is a living testament to the enduring spirit of our Kingdom and its people.
May these twin celebrations strengthen our unity and our dedication to the traditions entrusted to us.
