False Titles – You might be asking “What is a False Title?”
Well, I’m here to tell you a little about this topic.
A false title is any title of nobility that is not given by an actual ruling monarch, deposed monarch, or even an heir.
You might be thinking “Well, I got my title of nobility from a Chivalric Order, or a Church, do these not count?”
And you are correct, they do count, but only if the Chivalric Order or Church has what is called “Valid Fons Honorum” which is granted by a Royal Family Member, or by a High Ecclesiastic (Patriarch, Primate, Bishop) in direct Apostolic Succession.
I do have to say, that unfortunately, micronations do Not have any “Valid Fons Honorum” so, they cannot grant true titles of nobility.
False Chivalric Orders – Now, I mentioned above about Chivalric Orders and something called “Valid Fons Honorum.” I imagine that you are now thinking “What in the word is Fons Honorum?” Fons Honorum is Latin for the Fountain of Honor or Font of Honor. The Font of Honor is a person, who, by virtue of his or her official position, has the exclusive right of conferring legitimate titles of nobility and orders of chivalry on other persons.
As mentioned above with False Titles, Any order that is not founded by an actual monarch or deposed Royal House, or a Church with valid fons honorum is a False Chivalric Order. As an example, Chivalric Orders that may validly claim succession from the Templars are the Orders of Christ.
Now, I imagine that your next thought is, something along the lines of “How do I know that the Orders of the Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Bunyoro – Kitara Kingdom are valid Orders?” And I can happily tell you, that our Orders are founded through the Fons Honorum of His Beatitude Cherubim Abu – Seifein Akiiki, with His Majesty, the Omukama Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I as Royal Protector of both of our Orders, The Order of Saint Moses the Black, and The Ecclesiastical Order of the Eteku. Our Orders also have Communion with the Royal Order of The Most Honourable Order of Omukama Chwa II. Kabalega.
